We intend to cycle the above routes as part of our continuing cycle pilgrimage from Portugal to N Scotland.. Does anyone have any info or comments about any parts that are unsuitable for bikes? Also any advice about best time of year? We cycled to Edinburgh in July/Aug before, but would like to start earlier - possibly next summer.
Any comments welcomed!
