THE FOURTH DAY - LEVEN TO LATHONES

Can't really avoid being annoyed when the post just disappears when you press "submit" so here goes again! Onwards from Leven in cloudy weather along the beach to Largo, past the statue of Alexander Selkirk at his birthplace there and up the Serpentine to Upper Largo. Although I would rather have made this whole trip along the coastal path I don't have the time and now need to go crosscountry so as to be within striking distance of St Andrews on 5th July - I'm down south for the next six days. So it's up the loooong hill on the A915, mercifully closed to traffic for resurfacing today and through a quiet Largoward to Lathones. The old milestone tells it all!
