Edinburgh to South Queensferry

Part of St Margaret’s Way

Quiet roads and bike tracks out of Edinburgh past famous historical landmarks to the famous Forth Road Bridge. Great views of that wonder of the Victorian era, the Forth Rail Bridge, the newer road bridges, and the Fife Coast. Don’t miss the famous secret garden along the Rocheid path.

Starting at Eduardo Paolozzi’s giant foot of bronze at the top of Leith Walk by St Mary’s RC cathedral, then down a street of pubs and along Rocheid Path by the Waters of Leith, the Way links up with the former railway line, now National Bike Route 1, out of Edinburgh and over the historic Cramond Brig where the Way joins the John Muir Way through Dalmeny estate to South Queensferry.
