The Whithorn Circuit

Part of Part 1 – Carlisle to Whithorn

Starting with a quiet descent to the coast and St Ninian’s Chapel then along a rugged cliff edge path with fantastic views before a quiet return the Whithorn Circuit begins in the centre of Whithorn, with the Whithorn Trust, Priory and museum nearby, and takes the minor road B7063 east to Isle of Whithorn and St Ninian’s Chapel. The route then goes south along a rough coastal path to St Ninian’s Cave and north by track and road to join the B7004 into the centre of Whithorn.

This circuit was pioneered by the Whithorn Way Steering Group (WWSG). More important detail and travel advice on this route in the following link: .
